Bondi

An original free-standing, double-fronted Victorian terrace was transformed from a near-derelict boarding house back to its former glory as a luxury family home. Existing floorboards, cedar skirtings, decorative cornices, ceiling roses and corbels were maintained and restored where possible. Where it was not possible, new versions were manufactured to match existing profiles. Original marble fireplaces were restored as were existing windows and doors. The façade of the terrace and the sandstone fences were restored to an as-new condition, and painting was completed in consultation with a heritage colour consultant. New lace ironwork completed the look.  A nod to the modern era was provided with the installation of smart wiring, underfloor heating, gallery lighting, imported architectural door furniture and luxe fittings and fixtures in the bathrooms.
