A glass-walled conservatory was a delightful addition to this Burradoo property. We designed the space to create a casual dining/living area to take advantage of the stunning gardens beyond. We used post and beam construction with a conventionally pitched timber-framed roof and installed custom-made floor-to ceiling glazed walls with custom-designed glass doors leading onto a paved area and the surrounding garden. Timber posts and beams were left exposed and painted in to match the ceiling colour with soft, directional lighting installed on the face of the beams to create a calming atmosphere.
